Our Place recently introduced the Always Pan 2.0. This new and improved version of the super popular do-everything pan made some pretty big changes to the formula. While it maintained the size, overall design and pretty colors of the original, the Always Pan sequel swapped out the previous non-stick coating for a better-performing proprietary formula, and it can now safely be put into an oven.
We reviewed the new pan, and our tester — who quite vocally was not a fan of her original Always Pan — was delighted that the 2.0 was a much better product thanks to the changes made by Our Place (largely based on user feedback). Now, Our Place is expanding its 2.0 offerings by giving similar upgrades to its Mini Always Pan and Mini Perfect Pot.

What's different about the Mini Always Pan and Perfect Pot 2.0?
Our Place took almost the exact same approach to updating the miniaturized Always Pan and Perfect Pot as it did with the full-sized Always Pan. The new little pieces of cookware retain the size and shape of their predecessors and still come in a wide variety of pastel colors, but both have been given two major updates:
- The Mini Always Pan and Perfect Pot 2.0 now use Our Place's Thermakind non-stick ceramic coating, which is still non-toxic and free from PFAS but lasts up to 50 percent longer.
- The Mini Always Pan and Perfect Pot 2.0 are safe to use in an oven (up to 450 degrees).
Where's the Perfect Pot 2.0?
It's slightly odd that Our Place has updated the Mini version of the Perfect Pot while leaving the original to languish in a non-Thermakind, not-oven-safe purgatory. It seems extremely likely that the brand will give the Perfect Pot the same upgrades in the coming months — we see no reason why it wouldn't — so we would recommend holding off on buying a Perfect Pot until the 2.0 version arrives.
How much are the new minis?
You can currently get the Our Place Mini Always Pan and Perfect Pot 2.0 for a veritable steal if you purchase them together — it's just $200 for the Mini Home Cook Duo (normally $255). If you just need one or the other, the Mini Always Pan 2.0 will set you back $120, while the Mini Perfect Pot 2.0 costs $130. Both are available in eight total colors, including two limited-edition shades: Tierra (brown) and Cielo (sky blue).
